You can read the subject title two ways:
1. This is my Christmas blog post
or
2. This is about Christmas mail and the post office
I have received fewer Christmas cards this year than any year I can remember. I think a lot of people have decided that an email at Christmas will suffice. But does it - really? To me, it's another tradition that the digital age has pretty much destroyed. True, nothing is stopping anyone from sending Christmas cards - but that email is so much quicker.
Do you still send Christmas cards? I must confess to never having been a big sender of cards during the holiday season, but that will change. My first New Year's resolution for 2006 is to make sure I send lots of Christmas cards in 2006. I want to bring the personal greeting back into my communications in as many ways as possible - and the holidays are a perfect time to do this. I'll do my small part of keeping this tradition alive - and enjoy it! Maybe if you, like me, desire more analog back into your life, you will consider Christmas cards next year as well. Of course, maybe you already send bundles. If so, hat's off!
Merry Christmas To All,
Mike
